In Twitter-land there’s a weekly event called Follow Friday; you point out folks you enjoy reading tweets from, helping your followers find new useful accounts to follow. Here are some of my favorite search engine optimization tweeters for your enjoyment.
@ericward — Eric is a long-time SEO expert specializing in the art of link building. His Link Moses persona is always worth a laugh, and he’s not afraid to call them like he sees them.
@mashable — Pete Cashmore at mashable.com always has good posts, including many links to industry blogs and breaking news. He covers more than just SEO, so he’s a good resource.
@chrisbrogan — Chris is a wealth of knowledge in SEO, Wordpress, and internet marketing in general. Good tweets, and most definitely a good resource for your business.
@Oberhauser — Ortwin comes to us all the way from Austria (just around the corner for Twitter) and always has useful tweets about SEO. Not all of his tweets are in English, though…
@yankeerudy — OK, you didn’t think I’d leave myself out did you? I try to mix in some observations about SEO, entrepreneurship, and web development along with my obsession with baseball.
@randfish — Rand Fishkin is CEO of SEOMoz, a great resource for anyone into search engine marketing, SEO, or social media. His tweets are as enjoyable and insightful as he is in person.
@dannysullivan — Danny is editor of SearchEngineLand, another great SEO/SEM resource. Like Rand, he’s also as entertaining and knowledgeable on Twitter as he is in real life.
@jillwhalen — Jill is a noted SEO expert hailing from Boston. As a diehard Yankees fan, I don’t agree with her choice of residence but her knowledge of search engines and search engine rankings is hard to beat.
@mattcutts — I saved the best for last… If you don’t know who this is, you should hang up your SEO jacket right now. Matt is THE search engine expert at THE search engine, and is always worth monitoring for all things Google-related.
